It’s In The Details

The door, a simple visual queue that can determine levels of privacy.

The next time you approach a door, whether it be off the street or within a home, take a look at it’s material and structure. Is it glass? Is it wooden? Can you see the room beyond it with ease?

A door can tell a lot about the space that it guards. If it’s a solid wooden door, the privacy of the space increases. Make it a glass door, and the transparency makes it a much more public space.
